Another world

“Another world…
Dark birds flew in the grayish sky, sat on thin branches and argued, sometimes fought and took each other’s prey, in their play they looked like people who divided the world…

Today she cut the gray paper into small pieces, square and narrow, like postcards, each with the face of a fantastic animal with white squirrels, as if they were glowing…
“You are not an animal…” she wrote on the back…

Probably something should be preserved from the man in the beast, from the wild dark forest with showered branches of spruce trees and bushes frozen in the semi-darkness, looking like the long fingers of an old woman…

“In that forest I will sing my last song…” – it flashed through her head and she curled up on a scarlet blanket with white thin lines…

Why do I need all this… why… why did she cry quietly into the snowiest pillow, as cold as the snow…
Pale rain kept falling outside the window…

How can you lose everything and be left with your only hope smeared in dust…

In an imaginary universe, shells exploded, there was a pandemonium of many species and universes perished, and she slept, as if another soft world surrounded her…”
